I think checking which country you are going to is the first thing ....

She could be flying Ryanair, Cyprus would be 'close to' the airport in Malta as far as they are concerned

A disturbing number of people don't even know both are in the Med and not the Atlantic.  I blame the decline of board games, much of my wider world geography came from playing Risk
