It's just self serving and stupid
 
Either they believe in these 'climate change' and 'must avoid Russian fuel' policies or not?  Seems more like not
 
Instead they're distorting the market forces to make fuel cheaper than it might otherwise be.  At the same time our interest payments and  poverty gap is going to get worse as he's giving money out but not to the poorest while we are now paying £315 a month for UK hone in government interest payments

This is all about trying to avoid a Tory meltdown in the May local elections and risking a Greece style meltdown.  We cannot live on the never never forever and we can't keep letting the income divides increase.
