When did cash become a problem .... rubschin:....(money not singer)...

Most suppliers here accept/prefer cash ..even the ones not dodging tax etc... whistle:

On the Bride chat rooms ,the brides to be are shocked ... rubschin:    I understand they don't want to carry large sums around ..but this is even for 100 euros ..??...

and the Church ONLY takes cash ... ;D ;D

Here JCC the card processing company takes 3% ..not alot but mounts up over a season with big amounts for big companies.....We have to "PAY" 1.5 % for TUI to pay us(all suppliers) ...work that bastard out... noooo:

I've got a friend that pays with her phone all the time... It seems quite cumbersome compared to contactless... I've got it on my phone but haven't used it yet... rubschin:

It actually works very well but I rarely use it even though it's easier getting the phone out than the right credit card and it's more secure than a contactless card.  Think it's just habit and that 'wot if the battery is flat' point.

And IIRC the transfer uses a one time encryption code so a cheap scanner would get them nothing
