Pretentious Eateries....!

So friends have been raving about a place by the sea with views of the shipwreck...so as we had a day off .. Shocked:  we took a drive out ....lovely setting .... Thumbs:

but as we sat down saw a QR code on table for menu .... noooo:  1st warning sign....then the waitress came to take drink order..before she does ..she asks ...."Have you got any allergies we should know about ? " .....

(Miss T stopped me and any smart remarks about venue  evil: )....

So the food was good ... Thumbs:   but it attracts pricks ..the table next to us with the homemade sandels asking what flour the pasta was made with ... noooo:


And the table behind where 3? year old Miles ..."has to have a yellow chair to calm him " ...I kid you not ...!!! noooo: cussing: Banghead   and had to have "special" gluten free cheese to go in his spag bol .... noooo:  he proceeded to throw crisps around without being told off .. ....I guess he was "expressing himself "..... Angry9:

We are doomed .... noooo:

I took great pleasure smoking ... eveilgrin:  I asked for smoking area ... Thumbs:

and the disapproving looks I got .........sorry if Miles and the rest of the lezzer lentil bridage want non-smoking ...ask to be seated in that area ...!!!!   BTW it is an outdoor area and I am usually very considerate smoker if people are eating etc ...but this lot pissed me off and if I am paying a zillion quid for my meal ...I want what I want ..!!!....

Maybe .....they should have asked for non-smoking area as they have a small child ....maybe there were no yellow chairs there ... rubschin:

In a way we love places like that, we sit down and we play spot the floorshow - usually it's an idiot family but sometimes it's the staff.  Makes for a memorable evening.

Unmanaged brats though should be thrown into the garbage bins.

Food on slate is OK IMHO, bit of fun but mushroom ketchup is  sick2:

I fucking hate that as I don't have mobile data on my phone...  noooo:

Took the last Cherman to the airport yesterday and as we had plenty of time we went to the eatery... QR code...::)

So I faff around logging onto the airport WiFi, then scan the code to get the Me and You... Table service and the waiter comes over to take our order...

And puts down the place mats that have the full me and you on them!  cussing:

PS A few people have recommended Oniro but I don't think I will bother now...  noooo:

Not really, everywhere has WiFi so I don't find I need it... My connection (calls, SMS) costs me €3 per month...
