No. I tried to make a skirt last week. I got entangled in the tissue paper pattern.  redface:

Tree skirt?

For around the bottom of my tree, to hide the legs. Mr Wench covers his tree pot with a red table cloth.

How many trees do you have? One for each room?

We usually have a large tree in the hall and a small one in the dining room. In recent years these have been fake trees because of the little one's asthma. He reacts badly to the real sort.

Well, there is my large fake one, Mr Wench's largish real one, the small one in the bedroom, the teeny one on the dining room table think that is it for trees.

This is the littlest one.  Real Christmas Trees make both him and Mrs S wheeze ~ something to do with the sap/pollen ..... I dunno. Best to accept it as fact and buy fake ones.
We don't actually cook trees but he is allergic to almost every food you can name and to nuts, seeds etc. It is a matter of avoiding the really bad ones and striking a balance with the rest. The medics say he may grow out of much of it in time but the anaphylactic shock (caused by eating a small piece of walnut) he had a couple of years back now was frightening at the time. The biggest problem food wise is avoiding eggs. They are in everything  ::)

Coming up to the next lad ~ his toes are getting better. The lack of the toenails can, he tells me, get a bit tender so he is still not kicking footballs etc but otherwise he is OK.
