I am sitting at my computer and I can see something reflected in the monitor. Its moving about and it looks like a person. But when I turn round there is no one there. Now I am looking at the monitor again and it is there again. And no, it's not me, it's over by the far wall

Go and get a mirror a prop it next to the computer screen. If it relects in the screen it should reflect in the mirror. If it doesn't it's something to do with the screen itself.
