What makes your day
« on: September 26, 2007, 12:53:32 PM »
I am a simple soul and the silliest things cause me much pleasure (is there enough innuendo for you in that sentence).

However today I am overjoyed. One of the blokes I work with - who tests my patience and boredom thresholds at the best of times - has just come back from a visit. Whilst in this persons house the Police did a drugs raid. In the middle of this chaos he went to reach for his ID and was handcuffed immediately and gently placed against the wall  lol:

After a while when the confusion was cleared up and the police did not see him running away with a backpack on or were not convinced of any deep rooted Columbian links they had to release him (shame really).

He is going home for the rest of the day....... WOO HOO

Can a Wednesday get any better ? happ096

Sounds like a perfectly normal day to me - do you have a sheltered life or something?  You're obviously not in Nick's circle...   whistle:

Did you manage to keep from rolling around on the floor when he told you about it?

Waking up and realising I am still alive ~ though I haven't sampled the alternative yet.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

Today will be made when I get home and crawl under the duvet on the sofa with a bottle of vodka.

Do you have a separate sofa duvet as well - they are fab cloud9:

I do indeed!  lol:Doesn't everyone? Has to be done. There is a sofa duvet and a sofa blanket. Blanket is for warmth purposes only and the duvet is for emotional/comfort needs.
