If you are dead set on quitting and vaping doesn't work for you I do have a proven way to get you to stop (20 people tried, 19 quit, 2 of them even still talk to me). I wouldn't recommend inflicting it on Nod though as it would traumatize the poor bugger.  rubschin:

It's an extreme form of aversion therapy. Even now the 2 that still talk to me say that the idea of putting a cigarette in their mouth makes them feel nauseous.

Like I said, I really would not recommended for Nod, but if you end up desperate enough to want to quit and can't....

When I was a student nurse I had a load of (now mainly former) friends hound me about ways to quit smoking so I came up with one, completely off the cuff, one morning when I'd had enough of being asked how to.

It didn't help that back then I could be an evil bastard in the morning when I haven't had enough coffee  redface:
