A Museum of Chocolate.  cloud9:

Bit late really ~ I know of two in Belgium and one in Germany .... and their chocolate is better too.

Yes but they are foreign!! I need one on the doorstep so to speak!!

I'm not going to shame you Wenchy - shame on you boys I say  for not being nice - beware of pcwhack: when you least expect it  evil:

Sensible suggestion for weekend choc visit in your region is perhaps Mars - the factory in Slough NOT the planet before anyone thinks of that retort  ::)

Who's not being nice?

I dont know I can't see your face - is it you or another monk today?

Not a monk, can't handle the celibacy! whistle:

That's the whole point though isn't it? If you're celibate, your not supposed to handle it!
"Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

Well, someone had to say it!

I suppose it depends on whose "it" it is.

Don't think chocolate is a good enough reason to visit Slough.

Not so long ago we had the Paynes Poppets factory at Waddon - could smell it from miles away.

Drove past that on the way to Wing Yip the other week. All boarded up.  cry:

It was a protected building but they still demolished the whole lot instaed of leaving the frontage intact. Now the locals are objecting to dwellings being built there - what do they want? Another factory?

Threads here are allowed to develop and divert as normal conversations do. One idea sparking another. Personally I like it that way ~ as I like talking to people in a real pub.
I have to say, though, that in all the of pubs I frequented over the past 45 years I have never met anyone who, for no apparent reason, pulls out a picture of a girl with a large bust and shows it round.
If you want to simply post photographs there are threads for that in the Library.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.
