Stick one on Gordon - Sign the Petition
« on: October 10, 2007, 02:37:39 PM »
On PMQs today, where Callmedave rubbished him, Bottler claimed that no-one in the counrty wanted a General Election at present as only 28 people had signed a petition to that effect on the Downing Street website.

help to make it a thousand by tea time and let him "listen to the people"!

If you think that a thousand, ten thousand, or even ten million signatures on an on-line petition will prise Gordon Brown's fingers off the levers of power you are an even bigger fool than I thought.

Given there are 290,000 members of the Conservative party, 1,000 signatures by tea-time is a bit pathetic.
