Far too complex for it's time and far too many toys fitted - but I did like the password start interlock.
Virtually ALL cars are fitted with too much totally uneccessary toys shite on them now.
Auto wipers?
Auto headlights?
Electric seats?
Auto dipping interior mirror?
...to name just a few for the bone idle. Don't complain when they break down, as they surely will.
WHY?
Big Boys toys That's why! (and girls too these days) I've got more goodies than you have.
Returning to vaguely on-topic - The C4 Grand Picasso that I have now is cute, but I can't help wondering what would happen if I turned up to take a driving test in it.
1. No handbrake (in the conventional sense)
2. Gears? Neither automatic or manual really.
3. No clutch.
4. Assisted hill starts.
5. Parking assistance (automatically measures space to decide if big enough)
6. If big enough all round sensors guide in to park
7. Speed limiter to 30mph if needed.
8. Anti lock brakes.
9. Panoramic vision and mirrors.
10. Proximity sensors.
Group B1 at a pinch? After all, what would they actually be able to test me on?
Anyone failing their test in that, should be shot.
