I have a queue of small boys, noses twitching like Bisto Kids asking is it ready yet every five minutes. Think I shall have to 'fridge it to harden ~ it is rather warm here today.

She will be very nice!!! It is sweet and goey and crunchy and sickly! Next time I make it I will also be melting chocolate and dipping it in that. Sort of homemade crunchy.

If Mr Wench had discovered this recipe on his own and made it on his own I would be pleasantly suprised and most pleased. Make sure you wash up afterwards though otherwise she will give you grief about how to get it off the pan. It comes off suprisingly easily.

Yes TG ~ Go for it. Boys x 2 + Wife and Daughter have all voted it the best ever. I tried a little bit. It is pretty good. Deffo sticky and gooey and very sweet and chewy. ...... Bit like me really  lol:

I suspect a little white wine vinegar might improve it and take away some of the gooeyness.
