The place I get my sandwich from (when I don't make my own) has two large display boxes chock-a-block with them ~ hundreds of bars. Nearly bought one myself.

Not at all the same. A Twirl is far more crumbly than a wispa. It also doesn't melt as evenly. Honestly.  ::)

I still feel the changes are marginal to warrant the cost of maintaining two products which may compete for the same customers. Besides, Cadbury didn't really "do away with the Wispa", they simply consolidated it into their Dairy Milk range, like Cadbury's Caramel.

Not really. Different sort of chocolate and a wispa is less bubbly than an aero. More dense and more chocolate. Also doesn't melt as quickly as an aero.
