I think they have made up "pre-order" to apply to items that actually do not yet exist and will not exist until they are "released" ......, then you may place an order.
It comes under the twin generic headings of "P*ssing about with the English Language" and "P*ssing off people who dislike made up words"

Finally watched this earlier.

Very, very good. Those images of a Saturn 5 launch still have a certain power.

No narration, the story is told in the astronauts own words though Armstrong is notable by his absence.

Highly reccomended.
