How embarrassing!
When I was employed by HMG I was told in no uncertain manner that any traffic offences I might commit would constitute a unacceptable breach of the model behaviour that my work demanded.
It could only be rectified by resignation, demotion or sacking. I believed that it fairly reflected the seriousness of breaking the protocols that I was charged to uphold and enforce and accepted it wholeheartedly.
This chappie is in an exactly similar position. He now obviously realises that there is a real world out there and for one reason or another people get distracted.
He must be prepared to pay the price.
If it does not happen then I will officially declare this country to be hopelessly corrupt and our laws meaning nothing in ensuring the fair and equitable treatment of all citizens 'without fear or favour'.
I may be quite busy soon.
