Blood
« on: November 05, 2007, 01:45:52 PM »
I am a blood donor so I thought this story would wind me up.

http://news.sky.com/skynews/article/0,,30100-1291543,00.html

But for some reason it doesnt. At least the blood will go to someone that WANTS it.

Shame about the kids growing up with no mum but thats religion for you, full of fun and high jinx.  point:
I think my cat wants to kill me...

It's 'God's' word and surely. with him being omnipotent and such, would not have written something so vague about 'consuming' blood but have said 'thou shalt not have a blood transfusion' back in 3000BC or whenever.

Come on Mort, if the great sky fairy had been omnipotent then there would have been 5 horsemen of the apocalypse mentioned. Death, War, Famine, Pestilence and Nick.

The universe is run by the complex interweaving of three elements. Energy, matter, and enlightened self-interest.
