All things computer related
« on: November 06, 2007, 08:27:04 AM »

Why does something that is intended to make life so simple cause so much frustration. evil:

P.S I still cannot reply to PM's at work  noooo:- sorry but promise will do later after 8.30 when everyone is in bed  ;)

I am at the moment in the process of trying to set myself up to work at home a day a week at least. However I have been provided with corporate equipment that is obviously not compatible with home equipment, have had to spend hours searching for network keys, router numbers, VPN. Does it work - does it buggery.

What support do you get from out IT section -  a link on the intranet to a 26 page troubleshooting document. AAAAAAAAAGgggggggghhhhhhhh.

It is far easier just to come into work - and so here I am  cry:

If I have to set a home user up, I keep it as simple as possible, for their sake and mine. There's no great mystery to it, even if you want decent security.

Not too sure about the good, but yes there are sites everywhere and of course your own music sources at home.
