Given that Nick is supporting goose I'm half expecting to hear that an even more dangerous virus has decimated their population fairly soon.  noooo:

Any truth in the rumour that goose quacks like duck quacks do not echo? I lie awake at night worrying about these things

As I have explained in an earlier post, we have elected not to involve ourselves with Meleagris gallopavo this year.

I accept that the short-term memory of many of the inmates regulars may have seen this information evaporate of course.

This latest scare merely confirms the choice was probably correct.

Most farmers of my acquaintance would rather sit down to a decent beef joint at Christmas anyway.
We are yet undecided at Snoopy Towers but Goose it is for New Year's Day and that bird is already in the freezer.

You don't have to eat the prunes, you just stuff it with prunes. Oh, and an orange!

Goose fat = fab roasties

Not something you can say about turkeys, or even turnips.
