Why do USB plugs never ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, (recurring) fit the socket when you try and push them in? 
Then you turn them over ‘cos they must be upside down and they still don’t fit so you turn them back up the way they were originally then they fit! 
Happens to me too! Why is that?

Get a USB to work? every time I'm afraid old chap.
If you are having problems then get a USB extension cable and run it to the side of your keyboard. This way you should find it easier to work out which way its supposed to be inserted
