Revolution cancelled
« on: May 14, 2007, 07:40:22 PM »
Well, I was ready to take to the streets to kick start the revolution.  Pack lunch and Molotov cocktails (H&S approved) all ready.

Then it started raining.

Plus Eastenders is hotting up, a hint of violence in the air at Albert Square.  (bit of poetry there)

Plus we are only a week or two away from the start of. . . . . . . .

Wait for it. . . . . .

BIG BROTHER 8 !

Fantastic, half the nation will be slobbering and suckling at the glass teat for the next few months so I will be revolting all on my own.  No point really. . . might as well stay in. . read abook.  whinge on web fora. . . . .

I think my cat wants to kill me...

We do not revolt, although I once voted Lib Dem even though Dorothy said not to. Does that count? (We live in a safe Tory seat, so it didn't matter much).

See? We can't even keep a thread on topic let alone start an insurrection or invade Poland. .

The revolution is never going to happen at this rate.  I might as well shove an olive and one of those cute little umbrella's in my molotov cocktails and put a knotted hanky on me head.

Now if I only could be arsed to unfold this deckchair. . .

My satellite system has gone kaput at the moment and I?ve never watched BB so I?m up for the revolution ? sandwiches or not (we can kick the glass front of a McDonald?s in if we get peckish).   happ096

Although? Poland must be empty so perhaps it would be a good place to have a quick practice before the main event?  whacky082

Exactly barkeep, everyone practices on Poland first, then you tend to get promoted to do France as a reward

It seems we're talking war here rather than revolution.

I believe you have to revolt in your own country and as the saying goes: 'It ain't gonna happen'
