Yes. His passion for life and humanity touched me deeply. I was about four for fuck's sake - all I knew was I beat him at tiddly-winks and he sorted out a badge because of that!

Wonder if he "did" things to Valerie Singleton to secure it...

Shame I don't still have the badge... It came to a very poor end...
