New Year's Honours

Usual crop of people who have reached the "top" of their chosen field ~ some may have given some benefit to the nation, most have not. Oh and Michael Parkinson ~ presumably for services to cartoon stereotypes of Yorkshire Folk.
What a crock of shite this whole annual farce has become.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

Nothing at all ~ all contributions go to Labour party coffers. HM sees none of it and in fact the whole thing, tho' done in her name, is controlled by Gordon Brown.  ::)

But it would just be more brass behind the bar that would need dusting etc - along with the Olympic medallions et al.

I'm sure he wouldn't want us to refer to him as Sir - he already has our utmost respect and reverence lol:
