The first 2008 where is Wenchy thread

She has gone AWOL. I have been having to help myself from behind the bar for about 2 weeks now.

She's probably worn out with all that "Back to School" shopping, getting Mr Wench to the barber for a haircut and all the other little tasks involved in sending them off for a new term.
Mine seem to have out grown their school shoes in two weeks.
We find this out today and they go back tomorrow. ::)

Strangely my late Father was a shoe man ~ Managed a branch of Barratts for years until he "went over" to the John Lewis Partnership ~ And Mrs S used to manage a West End Branch of Barratts...... she came into my life with 120 pairs of shoes eeek: ~ Twenty years on she is down to a mere 30 pairs

And my grandfather made shoes at British United in Leicester. The price they are he ought to have been a millionaire.

1) crackdown at work
2) The Vomit/Shits
3) Celebrating birthday
4) Cleaning the house for said celebration
5) Taking down Christmas
6) Nagging Mr Wench into a haircut that doesn't make him look like Hitler
7) Back to school shopping
8) Spending of £100 gift voucher from school parents.

Think that just about covers it all.
