BM says I have to ask at check in later today that they check my planes fuel status and remind them it needs to be enough to get us 2000 miles - personally I think I just might ask them for a valium  scared2:

Have you such a thing as rescue remedy? Or failing that vast quantities of alcohol. My family all hates flying and we swear by three bloody marys knocked back as quickly as possible followed by sleeping for the rest of the flight. Eye mask and headphones of soothing whale music essential. ;)

Bach's rescue remedy no - Vodka rescue remedy a MUCH better plan.
I will follow your adept and very clever advice to the letter  ;D perhaps even having 4 or 5  cloud9:

My sister fears flying so she always has a few before boarding the plane. Unfortunately she cannot handle booze very well and usually needs at least 24 hours to recover - takes 2 or more days off her holiday.
She has now been converted to holidays cruises, especially if it involves the Carribean.

Miss Piggy will kill me! Picking up drunken parent at an ungodly hour of the morning is NOT fun. Mr Wench threatened not to do so anymore last time.  redface:
