This was in the papers this morning - this picture won landscape of the year or something and is of Corfe Castle. i thought it was fab

Corfe is a beautiful village, has a steam railway, and despite the number of visitors, is pretty much unspoiled. First time of many times I went there was around 20 years ago and straightaway thought of the castle that used to be pictured in the "Famous Five" books. Now, with the power of Google I can see that I was right.

I don't know know if it's true but an ex-coleague once told me that at the end of one of the local lanes lived a retired military man and his house is named Far Corfe  lol:
