One of my Oz cousins is here at the moment. She was getting the tube home to her daughter's and kept hearing the station name Cockfosters which she found amusing ...

There used to be a small 'Museum' in Arundel that had a whole heap of these ... all from the Victorian era .... that included 'specimens' such as two headed lambs, kittens sitting 'human-like' at afternoon tea and other 'rarities'. I gather that such things were very popular back then and collectors fought to outdo one another.
They were truly hideous  sick2:
