Losing essential items
« on: February 01, 2008, 09:15:09 AM »
I used both my debit cards for online transations yesterday, whjich meant they were on my desk. Now they aren't. I have about 4p in my pocket and no means to get any other dosh. I have searched high and low. I just know that the second I report them missing and have them cancelled they will reappear as if by magic and taunt me with their inertness. Angry9: Banghead

Right I am going to have one last, thorough and sytematic look then cancel them if they don't turn up.

After that they will turn up Angry9:

Get on the 'phone and pretend to cancel them. Hearing this "acted" conversation they will wait a few minutes and then re-appear. You only have to hide behind the door and grab them when they creep, giggling, out of hiding. whistle:

I remember a kid back when I was in school who found his parents cards and then helped himself to the contents of a survival catalogue, clothing, shelters, knives, survival kits. compound bows. About 3 grands worth.....  eeek:

Check you haven't put them in your other jeans or in the pocket of yesterday's shirt. That's my usual trick. whistle:
