Speaking of prose there is a lovely story that a lady once asked Brendan Behan to define the difference between  poetry and prose in his work.
BB replied thus:
There was a young man called McFee
Who worked for Accles and Pollocks
He went for a walk by the sea
And the water came up to his knees
.

"That Missus" says BB "Is prose, but another few inches of water and it would have been poetry"
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

Spilled my tea at the thought of a Chinese Van Go .... what a name for a Takeaway.

Surely they would be offering a delivery service?  drumroll:

Whilst I do not see Wenchy as a wraith nor do I picture her as a "Porker".
Pleasingly ample maybe ~ but I'm not sure that personal remarks are kind. She does put up with a lot from us without complaint ... let's have a be nice to Wench day.
