I spent yersterday in deepest Dorset, kept away from the radio and TV (an easy thing to do down there). Got back and watched the Super League(ducks for cover) while the Ireland game had already been recorded earlier, and the England game was recording. I watched the Ireland game last night and got around to watching the England game this morning. I had to keep away from the web/news/radio/newsagents etc until I'd watched it. I shouldn't have bothered, I work with two taffs and a South African, it's gonna be the morning after the world cup again tomorrow in the office!

(haven't got around to all the news yet... is Keith Floyd still with us?)

He seems to be. Fingers crossed .... sounds like a heart attack, the more I read about it ~ and they come in various sizes apparently. ::)

Wouldn't mind being in Dorset right now myself. Usual farm cottage just outside of Bridport is booked for the usual Autumn break but that seems a loooooooooooong way off yet.

Predictable result but an enjoyable match. I particularly liked the oh so expensive cashmere roll necks the French coaching team were wearing.  eyes: Tres Chic!

Scotland never really got it together but that's nothing new.
Wales just about deserved the win but that was never a try ..... not in a million years. evil:

French played a blinder but, just for a couple of minutes, I thought the Micks might just claw it back.

Now for England v Italy .... well we ought to win that surely.

I finally got to watch both matches this morning. Definitely not a try for Wales

And five more minutes and I'm sure Ireland would have beaten the French

I'll stick my neck out and say Italy might just turn England over today
