Should we give the Gurkhas equal rights of entry to the UK?

I am on their side. They have fought for us for generations so letting them retire to live in the UK seems only fair.
Restrict the right to those who have served with the Army and their immediate families only.

It is for sure that we would have been in the sh*t without them in many conflicts and we do owe it to them ..... though why anyone would want to live here, let alone fight for the right to, continues to baffle me  confused:
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

Yes, I think we should let them in too…  cloud9:

They could be ‘planted’ in some of the trouble estates where teenagers wreck havoc on people’s lives – suitably armed with those big curvy knife things… the Ghurkhas that is, not the teenagers…   noooo:

I agree, we pretty much opened our borders to anyone who wanted to come in and look at the state we are in now. At the very least these guys have earned the right of entry.

Plus I like the image I have of a Gurkha cracking up with laughter when one of those feral yobs pulls a knife before unsheathing his kukri.
The universe is run by the complex interweaving of three elements. Energy, matter, and enlightened self-interest.

I like yellow things, like bananas, lemon, the sun. Yellow is a nice colour. So on that note let them in ;D
