Ray the Belly's funeral was today. Huge turn out from the pub - his family were gobsmacked.

R.I.P. Ray. He would have enjoyed the Lonnie Donnegan festival we put put on the juke box for him.

On a rugby league thread about famous fans somebody recently said he supported St Helens, I've just pointed out that he doesn't any more  redface:

An unmistakeable voice, I have a few of his CD's, so much good stuff. City to City was a great album, as was North and South, but he'll always be remembered for Baker Street
