Indeed they are. My Uncle died last week. I'm getting a bit too much use of my funeral suit for my liking (he didn't write any comedies though)

My uncle also died this week. Walking to the pub with a friend and simply dropped dead in mid conversation. He was 82 so not so bad. But knowing him as I did he would have rather have dropped on the way BACK from the pub!  noooo:

He only outlived his wife by 6 months so 2nd funeral this year.  surrender:
I think my cat wants to kill me...

Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately it is the price we pay ... the older we get the more funerals we go to.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

Sorry to hear it TG but on balance, that was the way to go, I dread the idea of lingering.
After the pub would have been slightly better though, as you say.
