Always sad to hear of any death ~ but I can't say I was a fan.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

I wasnt a fan of all of his stuff but The Andromeda Strain (Both versions), Westworld, Jurassic Park (The book not the godawful films) and ER are favourites of mine.

Wasn't that Robin Cook?

Anywho, I enjoyed Crighton's stuff. The character and the dialogue were usually flat but the plots ere always fun and the background was usually interesting.

'State of fear' certainly wound the treeshaggers up a treat which is no bad thing in itself.
