Sir James Black, the Nobel prize-winning scientist, has died at the age of 85, his family said. The Scottish pharmacologist, credited as the inventor of beta blockers, died on Monday after a long illness.

I was perticulary disturbed when I read about why he decided to go ahead with it.
His permanent disabilty is something that I worry about too, greatly.

So young, so dreadfully sad that he felt that he had nothing more to offer because of it. cry:
