Spencer. Not famous, but I met him and he was a nice bloke, getting over his drink and drug habit. Chucked himself off a bridge onto the M3. Horrible :-(

Sorry to hear about the loss TMR. Despite being in a "bad place" previously, he obviously found himself in a worse place of late. My thoughts go out to all those that knew him and will be affected by his passing on

Sorry to hear that TMR - takes a certain amount of courage to take your own life and all of us that moan about 'our lot' should remember how bad it could be...

I think it is sad that suicide is such a taboo subject - mainly for religious reasons - which forces people like Spencer to take such drastic measure and leaves people like JOM to clear up the mess...

I think it should be open to all of us to terminate our life painlessly when we've had enough of it.

The Government insisted it was a "military judgment" and not just about costs.
