'Twas expected sometime soon and mercifully quick. Never married, quite a beauty apparently in the WRAC during WWII. Walked out with Al Read for a time but never tied the knot...

Oh dear, and now my last remaining Aunt (90).  Apparently she said to the carer 'Ooh, my head's just gone bang!', and that was it  eeek:

Sorry to hear your news.  cry:

I must say, when it is time for me to go, that sounds like a very desirable exit route.

^^^Wot JOM said^^^ I too am sorry to hear about your Aunt Pastis butagree with Darwin a good way to go.

Strangely I am going to the funeral of someone I don't know tomorrow, the sister of my neighbour. I am going for him.
I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.

I used to go to all the family ones... but since losing both parents I don't seem to do these events well anymore.  Sorry to hear your news though.

Well, it's an ill wind that blows nobody any good ...  rubschin:  The funeral is booked in a couple of weeks (busy time of year) so I thought I'd contact an old friend who lives close by. He'll now contact his brother and another old buddy so it might turn out to be an entertaining reunion  lol:
