Patty Andrews, the last surviving member of the singing Andrews Sisters trio whose hits such as the rollicking 'Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy of Company B' and the poignant 'I Can Dream, Can't I?' captured the home-front spirit of World War II, died Wednesday. She was 94.

I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.

Great Band the Troggs

I remember driving from Lyneham over to Bath where they were appearing at the Bath Cricket Club Annual Dance .... tremendous show and the first time I'd heard "Wild Thing" .... it went into the charts a couple of weeks later.  Well that dates me I guess.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.
