Each to their own, but i could quite pleasurably live in an remote 'ut in a forest up a big 'ill on me own 50 miles from civilisation and be as happy as a pig in shit for ever after, not giving a flying duck if i ever saw an 'uman ever again tbqatth (apart from the man from Tesco delivering me nosh like) cloud9:
It is 99.9% miles and miles of scrub except when the scrub is covered in ice.  Has a very picturesque glacier or 20 but glaciers get boring very quickly and Anchorage is a god forsaken dismal dump full of rude people.

But go and then you'll be our friend departed for places remote  (cunning but tenuous back on topicking)

Well, whatever, nevermind

Good luck to him..........  plus free hols for you ........

They have hills there too don't they.......... rubschin:

Don't they just. cloud9:
Been watching plenty of stuff on me new tv channels about Alaska. cloud9:

I'm sure they have their problems too, but the whiole lifestyle is just so much better and so much less cramped and rushed than this dump.

See how he settles in obviously, but if he's happy within the company, I will be actively pushing him to make the move.....before he regrets not doing it like I now do. sad32:

His mother will probably execute me for suggesting it mind. whistle:

I have always dreamed of going to Alaska.  cloud9:
That would make you perky   eyes:

You could supply her with two of your willy warmers....about the same fit.  whistle:

eeek: That's Nick's willy warmers?! Ah, God love him. The poor dear doesn't stand a chance does he.  noooo:

When you say live..... Gawd she's not coming back from the dead is she. scared2:

As for Heir Hunters didn't Mark get very very lost whilst doing a dodgy arms deal or summat?
I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.
