Sad news, as a child of the fifties I grew up hating her because of the frequent extolling of how wonderful she was singing songs i found dreary.  But actually she was a fair singer and put in more than her fair share during the war going to far flung places
 
103 is a fair old innings but I bet she'd have preferred to reach 104 and more

Ditchling. I think she lived there. She made the mistake of getting her man to take her out for a drive during the London-Brighton bike ride. I think it was a Daimler  redface:
