Ian St John...

Was he the one that used to be on A Question of Sport...? I liked him...
I remember him more from Saint and Greavsie.  Who'd have thought Jimmy would outlive him

Ian St John was a great footballer, a scourge of my team but I won't hold that against him.  He turned out to also be a very intelligent and witty presenter on TV

A sad loss  cry:

RIP

I liked him too... sad24:

The universe is run by the complex interweaving of three elements. Energy, matter, and enlightened self-interest.

Will they write his achievements on the box ... rubschin:   redface:

Did they have to insert an old biro in one of his spools to wind his loose loops in?
Well, whatever, nevermind

Very sad. You look at some of the races he commentated on and they were dull races but he made them gripping.
