Jack Smethurst, 89 I don't think BBC or ITV will be rushing to show repeats of Love Thy Neighbour

No and I really didn't know his work.  But I just noticed he was married to his wife Barbara for over 60 years, impressive in that line of business

So sorry Steve.
It's better than I ever even knew.  They say that the world was built for two.  Only worth living if somebody is loving you.  Baby now you do.

Thanks both

It'll go down as natural causes but I think that power outage was the final straw.  Strange time when you're standing there with the ambulance and fire brigade OKing them to break in and hoping you'll look a fool for the damage.

Well, whatever, nevermind

Gary Brooker, frontman of Procul Harum, 76.

They'd been around 55 years. I could only remember Whiter Shade of Pale, but recalled "Homburg" once I played it just now
