736 Naval Air Squadron formerly of RNAS Culdrose and the Hawk T1 have been decommissioned.

Damn I can't believe I missed the final flight. I always thought that the Hawk was a beautiful aircraft and it was always a joy to watch them when practicing low flying.  cry:

Must have been something you said

There still going to fly the T1's for the Red Arrows and the T2's out of Anglesey

The Hawk is a really well designed beautifully simple aircraft.  Staggering that it's over 40 years since I first saw the Red Arrows flying the Hawk.  It's not just a trainer as the 50,60, 100 and 200 variants have been sold round the world as light attack aircraft.
Well, whatever, nevermind

Yes sad loss  cry:.  June Brown was well known for her excellent portrayal of that part, less well known for her work for the Lewy Body Society https://www.lewybody.org/about-us/

It's better than I ever even knew.  They say that the world was built for two.  Only worth living if somebody is loving you.  Baby now you do.
