Didn't bother with Simnel Cake as minimus is allergic to eggs and nuts ~ hard to make Simnel Cake without either really and despite the fact that he says he doesn't mind, it seem unfair to be scoffing such things whilst he cannot. Better that we all go without and that way he doesn't feel "different".
Scoffing ~ what a very nice and descriptive word that is .... wonder whence it came?
