35 years today!

Today marks 35 years working for the company.

Yes, March 26 1973 saw a callow youth arrive at the hallowed halls of the Baltic Exchange to start his career in a well known shipbroking firm little knowing what fun and adventure awaited him. 

Where has the time gone? 

You may congratulate or commiserate, either would be appropriate.

I shall be lunching at Gauchos from 1pm. I may return.

That constitutes some sort of achievement these days. I have never stuck one job for more than 5 years.
