Well I've been to the hostible, seen the ENT man .... there is nothing shown on the scan to suggest that there is any physical cause for the tinitus so he is blaming the heart medication. Whilst there I blagged my way into the path dept for a blood test (GP wants it done but the hosp usually don't like doing them for the GPs and send you back to the practice nurse, who is useless at it and I end up with an arm full of holes and an empty test tube) and here I am back again ...... bet Mrs Nick is still faffing!

I recall some years ago a Radio One Road Show visiting Chester and, as is their way, the DJ (nameless but with a regional accent) approached two giggling girls in the audience and, thrusting a microphone up their noses he asked "So, Heh Heh, what do you do for a good night out here in Chester?" With one voice they replied "Get on a trian and go to Liverpool".

The other way round for me. We used to visit Chester a lot and sometimes stay overnight (i.e Dirty weekends away from the kids) when we lived in Liverpool.

We stayed overnight in Southport once. Fecking awful place.  noooo:
