Essex???? She would have been in sling backs, how hard would that be to take her foot out of? Prolly didn't want to put down her matching white handbag to unbuckle the ankle strap.

I agree that it would have been a horrendous experience for her companions but I have to ask how stupid (or come to think of it, pissed) do you have to be do try and cross when the barriers are down?

It reports she got her foot stuck in wooden slats. If the crossing is the same design as my local crossing then she wasn't even on the crossing but off at one edge.
