It was simply incredible! Amazing, the atmosphere, the singing, the result! Absolutely out of this world!


I think the late kick off was due to a desire to televise the Man Utd match.

Wasn't allowed to take the new camera. They were all with the old one. Mr Wench said I would ruin his day if I took the new one because he would be worrying about it all the time.  ::)

Good result for you Wenchy and a good game. I didn't realise Dave Jones was the manager there. One of the good guys in football. I would like to think that had outside circumstances not changed things he would still be in charge at Southampton and that they'd still be in the Premiership (maybe)

I could be wrong but I have the feeling that he is a fairly recent addition. To be honest I have been fairly lax in my match attendance the last season and a half. Which became obvious when I only knew of a couple of players on the pitch.  redface:

Honestly .... when Leeds United got to the Cup Final did they expect to sing "On Ilkley Moor"?
When Newcastle United got there did their fans want to replace "God Save the Queen" with "The Blaydon Races"?

To be fair most of this is politician and media wind up. Most of the fans either can be bothered with an opinion or are of the belief that tradition should rule. They won't necessarily sing GSTQ but they won't boo it either.
