Postie has just been. One of the envelopes is marked "Southampton City Council Bereavement Services". Fair gave me a turn I can tell you.
Opened it and there's loads o stuff about where, how and when interment or cremation can take place in that fair(?) city.

Tucked in with it all was the answer .... a piece of paper asking for £12 and details of those of my family tree who I believe to be burried in the city. I made the telephone enquiry weeks ago and had quite forgotten about it.

Thought they had decided it was time to call me in!
