My BiL is a bit like that toward his sisters and mother. Mind when Mrs S#2 and I bought our first flat (before she was Mrs S and was Mrs Somebody-Else) he turned up to help us move in. He was carrying in one hand a stunning girl, who neither of us had ever seen before, and in the other carrier bag containing a litre of Gordons Gin, two bottles of tonic and a bag of ice ~ he had a lemon in his pocket. A man with the right priorities I thought. We only unpacked enough boxes to locate the glasses that evening. redface:

I'm only really going to have a nose at the girlfriend's family.  redface:

The reason is crap.

Of course ~ he is Welsh and thus a short arse. All wimmin would look tall to him ~ Don't let him meet Mrs S or the THW then 'cos they are both 5'10" ~ scare him to death they would, look you.

Is he the short bodied or the short legged variety? I have noticed that they come in either sort. Some even seem taller when sitting down  eeek:. They don't actually "hinge" in the middle like normal people.

I don't know! I've never really paid that much attention!

His Mum is little legged though.

Walk behind him sometime. When he crosses the road you'll soon notice if his arse almost touches the kerb when he steps into the road. Then you'll know he is the short legged variety.

Any other oxymorons whilst we're at it.

My starter would be "Barman's Treat"

'Tis karma Growler my dear for boasting about them!

Is it really considered acceptable for sons to dump their families in favour of the girlfriends/wifes?

Growler jnr/snr has done just that to me. evil:
Didn't come around to see his little step brother and sister over Easter 'cus " I had my girlfriend with me all over the holiday, and you've banned her from your place"
So? Bin her for a few hours, or preferably for ever, and get your arse around here. Your step sister has just spent 2 bloody hours designing and writing an Easter card for you.
We're still waiting. cussing:

Found the bloody time to go 'round for dinner at her bloody families dump though.
My piss actually combusted on this occassion. eeek:

I was actually in a fairly good mood this evening UNTIL I read this thread again. cussing:
