Can you get delayed reaction to grief?

I was in the garden earlier and the plant we planted over Marmite the cat is flowering.

Got a bit weepy (big man and can therefore admit this)

Yes.

My Bro fell apart over a year after my Dad died. He'd been fine before that. I lost the plot six months after.

At my Mum's funeral we played Kathleen Ferrier singing "Art thou Troubled". That was 12 years ago.I still can't hear it without crying.
